For me, Women’s Day is not only about biological women. It is also about recognizing the value of feminine qualities — compassion, patience, nurturing, reflection — within individuals and within society.
Historically, human roles were more rigid. Biological responsibilities and survival needs often placed men and women in very different roles. But modern life offers something unique: the ability for people to embrace both masculine and feminine strengths, regardless of gender.
Equality does not mean sameness. It means equal opportunity — allowing individuals to pursue paths aligned with their abilities and interests without judgment.
Rigid gender expectations can limit everyone. In some societies women still face barriers to opportunity, while men may face criticism or bullying for choosing roles traditionally labeled as “feminine.”
Healthy societies benefit from balance. Masculine qualities such as strength, decisiveness, and protection are important. But feminine qualities — compassion, patience, long-term nurturing, and thoughtful leadership — are equally essential.
But looking at the world today — wars, power struggles, dominance —
it often feels like we are living in a world that is deficient of feminine energy!

Perhaps the world needs more quiet strength, More patience before force,
More strategy before destruction and More compassion before victory.

On this International Women’s Day, I celebrate not only women, but everyone who is helping bring more balance, compassion, and humanity into the world. 🌿

Happy woman’s day!
